If you're coming from out of town and would like to arrange for hosted housing, please email us at housing@aprilfollies.com and we will match you with local hosts. April Follies is delighted to offer you group rates at the Executive Inns & Suites. The facility is about a mile from the ballroom, offers full breakfast, workout room, pool, and free shuttle service to and from the Oakland airport, downtown Oakland, and BART stations. In addition, their shuttle service will be available to take you to and from Just Dance Ballroom. Group rates for April Follies participants are $109 in the main building and $129 in the suites building. To make a reservation at these rates, go to their website and enter "GR287CA" (not case sensitive) in the blank for "Corporate/promotion code". Come to the meeting to find out what NASSPDA is doing for you. Hear about NASSPDA's newly published competition rules, plans for encouraging and supporting social dancing, the development of an International Same-Sex Dance Association, NASSPDA's work on planning the 2014 Gay Games, planning for a possible same-sex dance camp, and other news from the same-sex dance community. Let your Board know what you'd like it to do for you and for our community going forward. Coffee and bagels will be served! You do not have to be a member to attend. April Follies will provide complimentary Shuttle Service between Fruitvale BART and Just Dance Ballroom throughout the day and evening of April 28.
